Carolina Explosion returns to Cabo San Lucas in 2027 and we’re bringing the tradition back, bigger and better than ever. After an unforgettable reunion in 2025, Black alumni from across the country will once again gather at Breathless Cabo for five incredible days of celebration, connection, and unforgettable experiences. From July 14 – 18, 2027, we’ll reunite in paradise to strengthen the bonds that began in Chapel Hill while creating new memories that will last a lifetime.

While the complete itinerary is still being finalized, you can already look forward to our signature Welcome Reception on Wednesday evening, the legendary Pelican 17 Yacht Cruise on Friday, and an exclusive post-cruise dinner where the celebration continues with great food, music, and unforgettable fellowship.

To participate in Carolina Explosion 2027, all bookings must be made through BHlue Events. Hotel rooms for this event cannot be reserved directly. Access to the Welcome Party and Yacht Cruise is exclusive to those who book BHlue Events’ hotel package. Individual tickets for these events are not available, so please plan accordingly.
